¿A quién beneficia y perjudica el aplazamiento de la Eurocopa?
La Eurocopa ha sido aplazada un año a causa de la crisis del COVID-19 con el objetivo de dar manga ancha a las competiciones de clubes para cerrarse de la mejor manera y poder disponer del periodo estival. El cambio de planes dará un año más de margen a los jugadores para demostrar que pueden estar en la cita continental, pero puede poner en jaque a algunos futbolistas que estaban rindiendo de la mejor manera. Sobre a quién beneficia o perjudica esta situación hay diferentes puntos de vista, para ello Negre Sobre Blanc ha contactado con periodistas y exfutbolistas de vinculados a la actualidad del Valencia C.F.

Es muy difícil hablar a larga distancia con una selección porque de una temporada a otra hay cambios muy volátiles. Hay jugadores que un año están fantásticamente bien y el otro están irreconocibles. Sí que tengo claro que esta circunstancia puede beneficiar a los más jóvenes como Ferran y compañía, que igual les faltaba ese pequeño tiempo para debutar y consolidarse.
La gente que igual supera los 30 años habrá que estar muy pendiente cómo se desarrolla la temporada que viene. Cuando te haces más mayor es más difícil mantener tu mejor nivel, pero es verdad que a los jóvenes el aplazamiento les viene bien
Veremos qué pasa con Carlos Soler, que es un jugador que tiene en mente el seleccionador, pero su año no está siendo especialmente destacado como para pensar que iba a tener una oportunidad.
De los Rodrigo, Gayà y Parejo veremos. Creo que Gayà se la jugaba y se la seguirá jugando por un puesto con Jordi Alba y Juan Bernat en el lateral izquierdo y que uno de ellos tendrá que caer. Parejo me genera más dudas de que vaya a ser un fijo para Luis Enrique con la cantidad de centrocampistas que hay en España. Rodrigo es el que más opciones creo que tiene de seguir siendo fijo, por desgracia para España no hay un goleador indiscutible para ser el ‘9’ de La Roja. Un Rodrigo a buen nivel va a ser fijo en la Selección y veremos si incluso puede ser titular
Parejo es el caso contrario. De aquí al verano de 2021 tendrá que mantener un nivel muy importante y hay mucha competencia. Si hubiera sido este año tenía la posibilidad de rehacerse en los últimos meses y mantener la inercia. A medio plazo esto le ha venido mal, tenía opciones de entrar en esta, pero en 2021 lo veo complicado.
Creo que a Ferran le puede perjudicar porque iba como un tiro. No digo que no pueda seguir haciéndolo el año que viene, pero esta temporada tenía continuidad y había tirado la puerta abajo. Todo hacía indicar que podría ir, pero veremos si renueva, si juega aquí, si se marcha y se adapta. Gayà ha demostrado que da igual el entrenador, que es un ‘avión’ siempre, lo ha demostrado con Celades y Marcelino y creo que va a ir igual.
Creo que a Rodrigo le puede perjudicar bastante. Me da la sensación de que el año que viene lo van a vender, porque es el objetivo y dependerá de cómo se adapte a ese equipo y qué participación tenga ya cerca de sus 30 años.
Parejo salvo que esté a un nivel excelso yo creo que no va a ir y con Celades no creo que lo encuentre, con él el equipo está mucho más abierto y destapado, al contrario que en el 4-4-2 de Marcelino, en el que se le permitía estar más liberado y brillar. Antes las pérdidas se subsanaban gracias a tener las líneas muy juntas y el nivel de Kondogbia y Coquelin. Ahora está más destapado y una pérdida puede suponer un gol y quedar más señalado.
A Gabriel Paulista le beneficia totalmente. Estaba esperando la nacionalidad y me consta que en mayo o junio tendrá la nacionalidad y que el año que viene puede ser una alternativa muy interesante para poder ir a la Eurocopa.
A Rodrigo le puede beneficiar, aunque yo creo que este verano iba a ir por la sensación que tengo de que al meter el gol que dio el pase matemático a España a la Eurocopa a nivel anímico y de prensa “queda bien” llevarse al jugador que te ha metido si este futbolista ha sido importante. Tenía opciones de ir, pero era muy difícil ser titular porque su año no estaba siendo bueno y de cara ganarse un sitio en el once le puede venir bien tener un año más.
Perjudica a Parejo y Rodrigo, puesto que su edad dificulta sendas candidaturas ante otros competidores mejor encaminados por su edad y potencial, como Fabián o Iñaki Williams.
Otros jugadores pueden ver el vaso medio lleno o medio vacío como Ferran Torres, yo creo que sale beneficiado porque dudo que Luis Enrique le hubiera convocado, en un espacio de tiempo mayor para hacer pruebas seguro que lo hubiera convocado. Y creo que va a beneficiar al Valencia el aplazamiento también, porque el jugador tendrá el objetivo de ir y sabe que en el Valencia lo va a jugar todo.
Otros como Wass, Cillessen o Cheryshev son líderes y fijos en sus selecciones e iban a ir igual.
Yo creo que a Rodrigo no le afecta en absoluto y va a ir sí o sí. Tiene algo que otros no, esa conexión entre el centro del campo y los delanteros. Un papel que han desempeñado jugadores como Cesc o Silva y que ahora no está. A Gayà, aunque no de forma tan clara, lo meto en el grupo de los Cheryshev y Cillessen, aunque en menor medida, creo que tendrá un espacio fijo en la selección
A Parejo por un lado le beneficia porque Luis Enrique fue su gran valedor, Robert Moreno a penas le dio unos minutos y la vuelta del asturiano le dará una oportunidad más de demostrar que puede estar. Pero por otra parte está la edad, optará a ir a la Eurocopa con 32 años.
Por último, Gabriel Paulista partirá de cero y claramente le beneficia
